In response to public interest cases concerning the Sandeshkhali incident, the Calcutta High Court, under the leadership of Chief Justice TS Sivagnanam and Justice Hiranmoy Bhattacharya, delivered a consequential ruling on Tuesday. The High Court has decreed a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into the matter, directing the agency to commence proceedings from Wednesday.
